About the Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute
The Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute was established in April 1, 2003, under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Education in Japan. It has a number of the authorized qualifications, including preparatory education courses approved by Minister of Education and the qualification of legal person for the cooperation between foreign and Chinese institutes approved by the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China in Japan.
The Institute has signed cooperation agreements with a variety of colleges and universities in China, for instance, Harbin Normal University, Qinghai Normal University, Heilongjiang International University. In 2015, two students from NIT were admitted to Waseda University and Keio University respectively after one years study at the Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute.
About the Program
The Exchange Program between NIT and Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute was officially launched in 2014, which has provided the Japanese majors with the opportunities to study abroad. There were seven Japanese majors that went to this institute the same year.
Requirements and Certificates
Japanese majors from the School of Foreign Language Studies can apply for this program at their third or forth academic year. The credits acquired in the Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute are approved by NIT. Students will be awarded the Bachelors degrees and the diplomas of NIT after they successfully finish the undergraduate program. Students will also be awarded the certificates confirming their learning experience in Japan.
Program Cost
Students need to pay merely the registration fee to NIT as usual and the tuition (about 735000 Japanese yen per year) to the Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute.
Scholarships
Students can apply for scholarships in Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute during their stay at the Musashi-Urawa Japanese Language Institute.
