On November 29, 2014, the Red Ribbon Association held an activity to raise people’s awareness of the AIDS virus and to provide information about how to prevent its transmission. Other volunteers included international students and members of the Young Volunteers Association. The first stop was Dongyu community where they handed out leaflets to educate citizens about AIDS and passed out questionnaires that tested people’s knowledge of AIDS and how to prevent its spread. The second and final stop was the NIT campus where the volunteers publicized the activity and interviewed several of the international students. Later, the volunteers signed their names on the banners and took group photos to commemorate the resounding success of the day’s AIDS awareness activity.
