The meeting on student enrollment, presided over by Prof. HU Zhengyu, Party Secretary of the University, was held on the afternoon of July 1st, during which President YANG Deren gave a pep talk and Vice-President LU Dongming rolled out work arrangements.

President YANG pointed out that everyone should have an accurate grasp of the situation and carry out the enrollment work in a coordinated and innovative manner. This year has brought both challenges and opportunities to the enrollment, with epidemic, policy changes, restrictions in the source areas of potential students causing uncertainty, while development being attached great importance to and student quality improving constantly. He also put forward three requirements: heightened understanding, focuses on important time periods and key student groups, and innovative publicity measures.

Vice-President LU interpreted the arrangements on a province-by-province and major-by-major basis, introduced the overall plan, and focused on the enrollment publicity. He hoped that all personnel in charge of enrollment of different districts would innovate publicity contents and channels and better communicate with potential students.

Secretary HU concluded the meeting by making it clear that enrollment was important and requiring united efforts of all departments and staff members.
