The School of Foreign Language Studies held warm ceremonies for Prof. ZHANG Zhenmei and Prof. WEN Zhonglan, two retired teachers, on June 22nd and 23rd respectively, with the School Party Secretary FU Xiaoyu, Union Chairman YE Qinfa and other teacher and student representatives sending sincere greetings and best wishes to the two retirees.

The ceremonies were marked by warm hugs, beautiful songs and emotional words. Teacher and student representatives expressed their gratitude and best wishes to their beloved colleagues and mentors, and the two shared their feelings and thoughts.

Party Secretary FU concluded the ceremonies with farewell speeches on behalf of the School, in which she fully recognized their excellent teaching skills and achievements, expressed her sincere gratitude for their hard work and contributions, and hoped that they would lead a colorful life after retirement. 

As an important cultural activity of the School, the retirement ceremony aims to demonstrate care and love for retirees and at the same time, encourage young teachers to inherit the fine tradition and press ahead.
