Students from NingboTech have brought home 17 awards, including two top prizes, five first prizes, three second prizes and four third prizes, from the 10th National Green Architectural Design Contest, which just wrapped up recently.

The Contest was initially launched in a bid to arouse the public attention of the green building industry and to improve the relevant designing as green architecture has already become a hotspot issue worldwide and an industry of strategic importance nationwide. By equipping architects with green building knowledge, green building concepts as well as skills like ecological simulation analysis, the event hopes to turn the green building industry into a new trend in this new era.

During the preparations for the Contest, participants learned energy conservation knowledge and internalized the designing concepts of low carbon and emission reduction. This event also offered students a good chance to discuss with and learn from each other.
