Experts participating in the Second Space and Marine Innovation and Development Forum visited NingboTech on September 15th, during which they had in-depth discussions with university officials.

HU Zhengyu and YANG Deren, Party Secretary and President of the university respectively, showed academicians and experts around NingboTech, introducing to them important labs and institutions like the R&D and Service Center for Marine Aquaculture Equipment, Yangming Academy and the Center for International Studies under the Ministry of Education. Feeling the profound humanistic and cultural atmosphere around the university despite a stress on science and technology shown in its name, experts said students had strong hand-on and practical abilities and that future cooperation could be discussed.

Experts also offered constructive advice on how to build specialty majors and to promote cooperation with sectors in Ningbo after learning the basic situation of the university presented by President YANG.
