A symposium was held in celebration of China’s 36th Teachers’ Day, during which HU Zhengyu, Party Secretary, expressed sincere gratitude and sent warm festival greetings to all the faculty members on behalf of the university, saying that the university would offer more support and assistance to teachers and serve them with heart and soul as teachers were an important impetus for its future development.

The symposium was presided over by ZHANG Xianmin, Vice President of the university, and was attended by university officials from General Committee Office, Organization Department, Personnel Department and Trade Union Office as well as teacher representatives, who made presentations about and had discussions on how to turn NingboTech into a Top 100 university in China from aspects of subject construction, personnel training, scientific research and local service.

Vice Presidents ZHANG Xianmin, LU Dongming and YANG Canjun as well as Secretary of Discipline Inspection HUANG Guangjie later visited faculty representatives and sent them flowers in recognition of their contribution to the university development. They also encouraged the faculty members to be the backbone in building NingboTech into a Top 100 university, and to become a beacon of excellence and hardworking for students.
