Two student teams under the instruction of ZHANG Xufeng and ZHANG Qiushan, faculty members of the School of Design, won the top prize and the second prize in the provincial competition of the 13th National 3D Design Show which was organized by 3D Dongli National Training Center for Manufacturing Informatization, China Graphics Society and Dragon Design Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and China Association for Science and Technology. The top prize winner entered the national final and snatched up the second prize.
A total of 658 universities from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions signed up for the competition ever since the event kicked off on April 18, 2020. 12,689 teams, after standing out from all competitors in fierce preliminaries, vied with one another with their entries in the provincial competition, over 600 of which successfully entered the national final to showcase their ingenuity.
