The School of International Studies has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ningbo branch of New Oriental Education and Technology Group, the largest provider of private educational services in China, to co-establish a joint training base for students.

REN Kai, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the School, mentioned that the base is another example of how the School, sticking to a student-centered principle, helps students land a decent job and makes the transition from school to workplace easier for students. LIN Jingjing, who is in charge of the School's program of educational internationalization, pointed out that the School looks forward to training students together with New Oriental by focusing on broadening students' horizons and enhancing their competitiveness. ZHANG Jian, HR Director of the Ningbo branch, emphasized the company's committment to offering more job opportunities to excellent students and helping them be highly competitive in the job market through career planning and interview training. The company will also allocate posts specially for NingboTech students.

The signing of the agreement is another student-centered move aimed at strengthening the university-business cooperation. While helping graduates-to-be find good jobs, it also fully demonstrates the School's commitment to equipping students with knowledge and practical skills.
