To deepen the industry-university integration and to implement the provincial strategy of developing digital economy, CHEN Jinhui and CHEN Song, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ningbo Hongzheng Advisory Co., Ltd., visited the School of Design on May 31st. LUO Shijian and WU Chun, Dean and Party Secretary of the School of Design, members of the team led by Prof. PANG Chaoyi from the School of Computing and Data Engineering, members of the team led by Associate Professor WANG Zhirong from the School of Design and LIU Shifeng,Deputy Head of Ningbo Managers’ Academy, attended the meeting which covered three topics: ways to improve skills of rural professionals, digital village construction and the future trajectory of the joint research center co-established by the university and the company back in 2019.
Dr. WEN Shiting and Prof. BAI Jianyu, members of the team led by Prof. PANG, briefed the attendees on how the School of Design has facilitated the city development using digital technologies and assured the visitors that the School, as the developer of Ningbo Health Code, is well qualified to technically support the company. Dean LUO, after giving an overview of the School, introduced the successful application of big data-enabled user experience analysis, which sparked spirited discussion about its potential. Ningbo Hongzheng Advisory Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Managers’ Academy were also introduced. Experts present then shared their views on training professionals and deepening business-university cooperation.
Ningbo Hongzheng Advisory Co., Ltd., founded in 2001, offers professional service in areas like survey and design of water resources and sponge city design. The joint research center it established together with the university is an important channel through which many teachers and students have contributed to the rural revitalization.
