The Xusheng Scholarship for Encouragement Award Ceremony was held by the School of Mechatronics and Energy Engineering on May 12th. Officiated at by TONG Weixing, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the School, the ceremony was attended by XU Xudong, NI Wanshi and LI Caixia, Chairman, HR Director and Senior Recruitment Manager of Ningbo Xusheng Auto Technology Co., Ltd., WANG Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the School, LI Jiqiang, Deputy Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and teachers in charge of student affairs.

TONG expressed sincere gratitude to the company for its generous donation and inspired students to study hard. Scholarships were then presented to outstanding students in recoginition of their achievements. WANG Jianye, student representative, extended grateful thanks to the company for its kindness and to School officials, teachers and fellow students for their support and encouragement along the way. XU Xudong, founder and Chairman of the company, then gave an inspiring speech, in which he expounded on the core corporate values of “Perseverance, Surpass, Happiness and Gratitude” by using plain and humorous words. Reminiscing about how he started the company, he encouraged students to strive forward by making all-out efforts.

Xusheng Scholarship for Encouragement, set up by Ningbo Xusheng Auto Technology Co., Ltd. in 2019, has so far offered financial help to a total of 30 students. The listed company, mainly engaged in businesses of die-casting, forging and extrusion of aluminum alloy, has established long-term cooperation with major car manufacturers like Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Polaris, GWM and NIO. It has won various awards and is now among the best suppliers of new energy vehicle parts.
