Students from the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture visited Zhejiang Kaixiang Consulting Co., Ltd. on May 18th as part of the School’s plan to forge stronger ties with local companies and align its student training programs with market demands. SHI Le and WANG Kaixiang, General Managers of the company, accompanied students during their visit.

Students were first shown around the company and then learned more about its corporate culture, job requirements and remuneration packages in the conference room, where they also listened attentively as YANG Jin, a NingboTech alumnus and company employee, shared his stories since he started working here. SHI Le noted that the company attaches great importance to employees' personal growth and development and hoped that all the staff could have a sense of belonging, security and achievement working here. Using three keywords of self-confidence, self-discipline and self-improvement, he also encouraged students to bravely start their working life and strive to realize their dreams. Students benefited a lot from the visit and hoped that the School could offer more opportunities like this for them to learn more about the job market.

A cooperation agreement was later signed, according to which the two sides would make joint efforts to promote cooperation featuring resource sharing, complementarity, mutual assistance and win-win results in the future.
