LU Dongming, Vice President of NingboTech University, recently visited the School of Mechatronics and Energy Engineering, the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering and Business School, where he inspected the Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the School of Mechatronics and Energy Engineering, the Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering as well as the Experimental Teaching Center of Business School. He was informed of the problems that exist, future plans for three centers and the progress of education-production integration.

LU, fully acknowledging the future plans envisioned for the centers, emphasized the importance of experimental teaching in cultivating innovative students and required three centers to, guided by the goals of building the university into one that is among the "first-class in the province and top 100 in the country", create big data-enabled interdisciplinary teaching resources so as to facilitate quality undergraduate education with high-level experimental teaching. He also required the two provincial centers to enhance education-industry cooperation and to explore new mechanisms for student training through collaboration with relevant companies and industries.
