Hosted by China Charity School and Zhejiang University's School of Public Affairs, and organized by NingboTech University's Federation of Social Science Associations, Business School and Yilifang Charity School, the third Social Entrepreneurship Youth Forum and Forum on Social Entrepreneurship Education were held on July 16th. Focusing on social entrepreneurship education, the forum is aimed at contributing wisdom to the establishment of a social governance system featuring joint contribution, co-governance and shared benefits.

Scholars and experts from over ten colleges and universities including Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Hunan University, and representatives from institutions like Zhejiang Dunhe Foundation and Yinzhou Bank Foundation gathered together to discuss ways to reform social entrepreneurship education in China.

NI Hao, Associate Professor of Zhejiang University, reviewed China's social entrepreneurship education by comparing it with that in American colleges and universities. Ms. YE Zhenzhen of Zhejiang Dunhe Foundation explored feasible ways for university-industry integration by using Handan Project, China's first ever philanthropists training program supported by her employer, as an example. Other attendees also shared their experience during the spirited discussions.

As a new business mode that is both charitable and commercial in nature, social entrepreneurship is a newly emerged driving force for the modernization of China's system and capacity for governance.
