The Institute of Intelligent Automation of the School of Information Science and Engineering was appointed advisory body of Ningbo Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Vocational Education Group during the launch ceremony held on May 18. A joint student training center and an integrated cooperation center combining secondary and higher vocational systems were also launched during the event.

Ningbo Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Vocational Education Group, approved by Ningbo Education Bureau, is a non-profit entity aimed at facilitating industry-education integration and training students with skills needed for intelligent manufacturing. With Ningbo Vocational Education Center School taking the lead and vocational schools, companies, government institutions, industrial associations and research institutions taking part on a voluntary basis, the organization focuses on training professionals, commercializing research results and serving society. Four industrial associations, 30 well-known companies including Aux, eight colleges and universities, and 19 vocational schools are now members of the organization.

As the advisory body of the Group, the Institute of Intelligent Automation of the School of Information Science and Engineering will contribute its share as Ningbo is striving to be a leading city enjoying quality manufacturing development.
