To be in honor of the coming 38th Tree-planting Day, Professor Jin Weiliang, President of NIT volunteered to plant trees along with about one hundred teachers and students in the gentle breeze of spring on March 9, 2016.

This activity was carried out with the guidance of the new campus planning and the campus gardeners. The Sakura trees in the construction site of NIT was transferred to t to the west wing of the North Playground. President Jin Wailiang, as a professional in architecture offered his insightful suggestions on the campus planning.
This activity was sponsored by the Green-life Committee of NIT, which aims to strengthen the awareness of environmental protection and advocate the use of green energy.
