In the morning of May, 5th, 2016, the forum of the JOCO Business Platform for College Students and the founding ceremony the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship were held at NIT. Zhang Minghua, Deputy Mayor of Ningbo Municipal Government, Hu Chidi, Deputy Director of Ningbo Education Bureau, Professor Fei Yingqin, Party Secretary of NIT, Zhang Yu, General Secretary of Ningbo Entrepreneur Association, Xu Pingju, Chairman of Ningbo Saier Corporation, Guo Haihao, Chairman of Ningbo Bochuang Shenglian Corporation, and Mao Jingna, General Manager of JOCO Network Technology Corporation, attended the forum and the founding ceremony. The forum and the founding ceremony were hosted by Huang Guangjie, Deputy Party Secretary of NIT.
Zhang Minghua, on behalf of Ningbo Municipal Government, offered his warm congratulations on the establishment of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He also said that the JOCO Business Platform for College Students had played and would play a significant role in most of the colleges in Ningbo.
Professor Fei Yingqin, Party Secretary of NIT, made his speech. He said: “The JOCO Business Platform for College Students, sponsored by Ningbo Entrepreneur Association, is a new platform for students innovation and entrepreneur education after Ningbo Talent Market Station was founded at NIT.
Xu Pingju, Chairman of Ningbo Saier Corporation, said that the JOCO Business Platform for College Students had exerted great influence on college students starting their own businesses in Ningbo, and that Ningbo Entrepreneur Association would surely play an equally important role in this respect by employing experienced influential entrepreneurs as their tutors.
