A piece of good news came from Zhejiang Mathematical Society (ZMS) that NIT students won the first prize in the Seventh Chinese Mathematics Competitions (CMC), Zhejiang Division. It was also reported that 10 students won two second prizes, six third prizes and two winning prizes respectively.
The Chinese Mathematics Competitions, representing the highest level of national higher mathematics competition, was launched in 2009. This annual competition is divided into majors of mathematics and majors of non-mathematics.
