Recently, Legislative Affairs Office of Government of Ningbo Municipal Government issued an official paper engaging Professor Jin Pengnian as a legal advisor.

According to Regulations of the Legal Advisor of Ningbo Municipal Government, legal advisors duties involve giving opinions of the legality of policy-making and analysing risks, participating in the research and investigation of legislative programs and administrative canonical documents. Legal advisors also help the municipal government to deal with affairs such as lawsuits, reconsideration, arbitration, implementation and other legal issues.

Professor Jin is Dean of the School of Law and Politics of NIT and Vice President of Chinese Institute of Private International Law.
