On the afternoon of June 8, 2015, the opening ceremony of the International China Central/Eastern Europe Institute of Logistics and Service Science was held in the Administrative Building of NIT. Jin Weiliang, President of NIT and Prof. Wang Hao, Deputy Dean of the School of Management, attended the ceremony and signed the agreement.

At the ceremony, Prof. Nazarko signed the agreement with President Jin to jointly establish the International China Central/Eastern Europe Institute of Logistics and Service Science on behalf of Bialystok University of Technology. Prof. Wang Hao was appointed Dean of the School on behalf of NIT and Prof. Nazarko was also appointed Honorary Professor of NIT. 16 Chinese teachers and students of Logistics Department are to be on a study tour to Poland, and, as an exchange, 32 Polish counterparts will visit NIT China this year.
It is reported that the School is aimed at promoting academic communication by mutual recognition of credits, exchange of teachers and students, academic conference and academic cooperation.
