In September, 2014, The Sixth Provincial Chemistry Competition was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, which was held by Zhejiang University. 36 teams attended the competition, including Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of Technology. After the fierce competition, one NIT team, composed of Lin Haote, Huang Jianfeng, Ji Chengzhong and Liu Yue, won the second prize under the guidance of Mao Honglei and Zhou Xianbo, and the other NIT team, composed of Shi Luodan, Wang Guannan, Miu Hui and Wang Minhkang won the third prize under the guidance of Wei Minhui and Wang Yonghong.
