At the beginning of 2015, Love Foundation for Students at NIT raised 202,5736 yuan (RMB) to help those students who are in need. In 2014, it sponsored 36 students with the fund of 60,300 yuan (RMB). It is reported that the Foundation has sponsored 446 students since it was established nine years ago.
Xia Ke, a Civil Engineering major, recalled her struggle with the illness she suffered from. She said, “Love Foundation has helped me out of the difficulties and hardships. I was surrounded by the warmth and kindness from NIT, our big family. I do appreciate Love Foundation.”
