On December 12, 2014, the Ningbo Institute of Technology (NIT) signed a framework agreement for cooperation with WILD SC (Ningbo) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of high-performance controllers, control centers for domain management of robots, and large-scale unmanned intelligent systems. The companys core team consists of overseas returnees.

WILD SC, which was recently introduced by the Ningbo municipal government as a major commercial project, owns over 50 international technology patents. Its specialty area is embedded controller design. It is currently developing high-performance embedded controllers with robust cores that run the high-precision locomotion control algorithms required for robotics applications. The companys goal is to gain market share in the high-end intelligent controller industry, and its main products include security robots, marine robots, and intelligent industrial robots.

Following the signing ceremony, leaders from both sides exchanged ideas about project cooperation and management, construction of a shared scientific research base, and employment opportunities.
