In the evening of September 7, NIT held the opening ceremony for freshmen in the square in front of the library. Lin Jianhua, President of Zhejiang University, Jin Weiliang, President of Ningbo Institute of Technology, Fei Yinqin, Party Committee Secretary of Ningbo Institute of technology attended the ceremony. President Lin Jianhua and President Jin Liang delivered speeches to warmly welcome the freshmen and express their ardent expectations. The ceremony included a series of performances by the students and teachers of NIT to celebrate the coming traditional Chinese festival, Mid-autumn Day as well.
