On June 22nd, the opening ceremony of the Fourth Creative Life Festival of Chinese College Students was held at NIT. The focus of this annual festival was the ;Creative Pioneer, and it included related activities and numerous exhibits.

Hosting the ceremony was Huang Guangjie, Party Vice-Secretary of NIT. Huang gave a speech to welcome the attending leaders and guests, and to thank friends in related institutions and in the media for their continuing support.

The theme of this years festival was ;Micro-Life; Then Start. The term ;micro-life referred to five areas of a students personal life that are related to technology, culture, and art, and which must be identified and properly developed. The next step – ;then start – involves the Creative Pioneer spirit of practice, responsibility, creativity, and innovation. Significant areas of practice include the fields of environmental protection and health services.

All in all, the Creative Life Festival seeks to promote a culture of creativity and innovation that will benefit the personal and professional development of college students.
