At 17:30 on May 7th, the exciting final game of the womens basketball championship was held on the NIT campus. Competing were enthusiastic teams from the School of Management and the Department of Foreign Language Studies. The student teams gave their all on the court, but at the end, the Management majors were victorious.

From the first ball toss, both of the teams set an astonishing pace and demonstrated their considerable ball-handling skills as they moved up and down the court. The roaring voices of the spectators, and the constant encouragement of the cheerleaders, provided the players with added confidence and support. During the first quarter, the Management team recovered several rebounds, and by the end of the quarter they were well ahead on the scoreboard. But in the second quarter, the Foreign Language team applied relentless pressure, seizing several rebounds to take the lead. But the Management team fought back hard, and at the end of the quarter they were 20 points ahead of their rivals. In the second half, the Management team benefitted from flexible tactics and solid teamwork, which enabled them to control the ball, gain advantage from rebounds, and break through the opposing teams defenses. When the buzzer sounded at the end of the final quarter, the Management team had won their third consecutive womens basketball championship with a score of 38-15.
