On May 16th, a new type of association exhibition was held in the SC hall by the Association of Law. The event was co-hosted by the Publicity Division and the Department Council.

The exhibition was a visual extravaganza. Four NIT associations hosted colorful and interesting exhibits: the Law Society of the Round Table, the Xinyi Yue Opera Club, the Liuying Flower Club, and the Sanxi Painting Club. Attendees created gorgeous flower arrangements, displayed remarkable penmanship and calligraphy skills, and promoted the costumes and musical traditions of the famous Yue classical opera. Opera performers were dressed in opera costumes, robes, and gowns, and wore an assortment of wigs. The exhibit of 10-year-old Law Society of the Round Table, which was perhaps a bit more subdued than the others, enabled attendees to experience the discipline and solemnity of the legal profession.

Following the exhibition presentations, members of the Opera Club and Flower Club taught students how sing opera, make paper flowers, and so on. Students as well as teachers participated actively, and frequent applause and laughter could be heard echoing through the hall.

The overwhelming success of this unique exhibition sets a precedent for future such activities at NIT. It provided a popular venue that enabled the Department of Law to display its achievements in association with other student organizations, promote traditional culture, and strengthen the relationships between the schools community of teachers and students.
