A meeting was recently held on campus to gather suggestions on how to improve the quality of education and cultivation of talent at NIT. Attending the meeting to share their views were representatives from the 2014 graduating class. Yang Jinagang, Vice President of NIT, Yang Xianglong, Dean of the Teaching Affairs Deparment, and Zhou Shuhong, Dean of the Students Affairs Department, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, student representatives talked about their personal experiences during four years of study at NIT, and offered many relevant and useful suggestions. Vice President Yang said that the NIT leadership would carefully consider the suggestions provided by the students and that all departments would analyze each suggestion and develop an appropriate response. Yang also emphasized that NIT would continue in its work to improve the schools overall quality and academic environment.
