In the fall semester of 2014, the Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, plans to enroll 3,010 undergraduate students from 11 provinces and districts including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Hubei, Hebei, Chongqing, Sichuan, Xinjiang, and Shanxi. Among them, 200 studentsof liberal arts and science will be firstly admittedin Zhejiang province, 2096 of liberal arts and science secondly admitted and 654 of them from the other provinces and districts.

NIT will also add the new undergraduate major of Internet and New Media . This new program will accept 80 students from liberal arts and science. Existing major programs in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation each plan to enroll an additional 40 students from Zhejiang province.
