On March 30th, Wang Jingquan, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a well-known expert in the field of bridge engineering and a professor at the PLA University of Science and Technology, visited the Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University. NIT Professor Jin Weiliang accompanied Wang Jingquan on a tour of the campus, visiting an exhibition on the many achievements of NIT during its history, as well as the Laboratory of Structures and Bridges.

Wang was impressed by what he saw, and made a number of positive comments on NITs impressive growth as an academic institution. At the conclusion of his visit, Wang and Professor Jin took part in a personal discussion regarding future plans for the continuing development of NIT.
