On April 13, 2014, the 19th Mechanical Design Competition was held on the Yuquan campus of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Twenty teams from Zhejiang University and NIT entered this competition, which was organized under the theme, “Dream Classroom”. Participants displayed their designs for mechanical devices that improve classroom teaching environments by making them more audience-friendly.

Five design teams from the NIT School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering won two first prizes, one second prize, and two third prizes.

Outstanding teams in this competition will be selected to participate in the 11th Undergraduate Mechanical Design and Innovation Competition and in the 6th National Mechanical Design Competition.
