On April 23rd, NIT staged a consultation session at the gate of the cafeteria to advise interested students and teachers about the Overseas Summer Study Tour program. Seven tours are being offered this summer to Queens University in Belfast, Ireland, the University of Indianapolis and Harvard University in the United States, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, among others.

The level of interest in the study tour program is high, and many students and teachers took this opportunity to compare different options, and to gather detailed information about travel itineraries and expenses. Promoters of the tour program also discussed the various requirements and qualifications for specific tours.

Although most of the tours filled up very quickly, places were still available on some tours, such as the one to Harvard University, as of the sign-up deadline of April 30th.
