This years National Advertising Art Competition of University Students took place on September 12, 2013, and a large group of NIT students from the School of Media and Design performed with distinction. Overall, they won 55 awards in the contest – five 2nd prizes and five 3rd prizes.

Over the last few years, the School of Media and Design has been organizing a variety of competitions to encourage students to express their creativity and to cultivate a professional spirit. The ;Graduate Design Exhibition and the recent ;Classwork Exhibition are examples of the competitive activities being sponsored by the school under the motto, “Practice enables both teachers and students to excel”.

As is evident to all from the ten prizes won by Media and Design students at this years National Advertising Art Competition, the schools programs seem to be working even better than expected!
