Scenes from the famous Russian drama Taboo Games of Youth were performed at Kezhen Auditorium by NITs Three Leaves Drama Club on October 14, 2013 to welcome this years class of freshmen. Taboo Games of Youth, a modern drama about life on a university campus, is based on the former Soviet Union drama, Dear Elena Sergeevna, which was banned for a period of time because its controversial subject matter triggered investigations into educational systems in the Soviet Union and around the world. Members of the Three Leaves Drama Club, which is part of the NIT Art Troupe has performed many classic stage works since it was founded ten years ago, and is dedicated to re-creating experimental dramas and well-known stage performances to help students cultivate their sense of art aesthetics.
