Two engravings created by Professor You Xusheng, Vice-president of the School of Media and Design at NIT, were recently selected for inclusion in the prestigious 110th Salon d'Automne Art Exhibition in Paris, France. The Salon d'Automne has been a widely-publicized, annual arts event since 1903. The first Salon d'Automne exhibition was organized with the initiative of the Belgian architect, literary scholar and art collector, Frantz Jourdain. For decades, Professor You has been creating engravings and other works of art with perseverance and consistency. This year marks the ninth time he has participated in this international exhibition. Having his works presented at the Salon d'Automne not only signifies the notable accomplishments of his artistic career, but also adds significantly to the growing international reputation of the Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University.
