On April 2nd, the first caucus of the Youth Environment & Friendship Ambassador Union of Zhejiang Province was held in a 10th-floor conference room of the Zhejiang Environmental Protection Bureau. Yu Wei, League Secretary of the Bureau, attended the caucus along with newly appointed student cadres.

In his address to the caucus, Yu spoke about the criteria for recruiting new cadres to the Ambassador Union. He then ceremoniously announced the names of the 13 new nominees. As the next order of business, Wang Weihao, Assistant Chief of the Green Wind Environmental Association of NIT, was elected to the position of Deputy Director of the Development Center of the Youth Environment & Friendship Ambassador Union of Zhejiang.

During his time as assistant chief, Wang implemented various management improvements for the Green Wind Environmental Association and dedicated himself to environmental protection activities. He has been actively engaged in public welfare and environmental protection activities since he was honored in 2011 as one of the “Thousand Youth Environmental & Friendship Ambassadors.” His many accomplishments include organizing activities related to Earth Hour, fruit-themed greeting cards, environmentally-friendly bicycling, and World Car-Free Day.
