Fu Bingqing, Secretary-General of the Green Wind Environmental Association of NIT, will travel to Kitakyushu, Japan to attend the Youth Forum of the fifteenth Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting from May 4th through May 7th. Fu was recently notified of this honor by the Center for Environmental Education & Communication of State Environmental Protection Administration (CEEC).

Five young people from each country – China, Japan and Korea (TEMM) – will attend the forum; Fu Bingquin will be one of five youth representatives from China. After the forum is concluded, Fu and the other youth delegates will be granted personal interviews with their respective TEMM ministers, during which they will present reports on the Youth Forum proceedings.

The theme of this years forum is “Our Environment, Sustainable Cities”. The mission of the Youth Forum are as follows: to train future leaders in the field of environmental protection in concepts and techniques of sustainable development; to enhance international cooperation and mutual understanding, and to promote sustainable development through friendly interaction between the youth of the three participating countries; to encourage young men and women to play an important role in promoting sustainable development; to give young people in the three countries an opportunity to learn about environmental protection and sustainable development.
