Yu Chunming, Vice President of NIT, led a five-person delegation to visit UIndy (the University of Indianapolis). The delegation attended the graduation ceremony for the universitys 2013 graduating class and then met with the MBA Project Department to discuss matters of cooperation. During their visit, delegation members also enjoyed speaking with several NIT teachers who are currently serving as visiting scholars at UIndy.

Continuing their tour, the delegates visited Widener University, where they were warmly welcomed by Dr. James Harris, president of the university. They reached a consensus on several new ideas for increasing communication between students and teachers, such as the promotion of short-term student exchanges, teacher visits and academic collaboration. The delegation also visited with a number of NIT students who are now exchange students at Widener University.

To conclude their overseas visit, the NIT delegation visited several other institutions, including the University of Toronto, St. Michaels College, the Zheng Yutong East Asian Library, and the Lee Mingze Museum.
