On November 3rd, NIT President Jin Weiliang, together with a delegation from NIT, visited the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), in Australia.
President Jin held cordial talks with USQ Vice-President John Cole on issues of common concern, including student-teacher communication and the construction of platforms for conducting scientific research.
In the morning, President Jin visited the exquisite USQ campus. Later in the day, the NIT delegation visited USQs Green Materials Engineering Center, accompanied by the centers director, Professor Hao Wang. There, they listened to NIT Professor Fang Zhenping deliver introductory remarks about a plan for academic cooperation between the center and NIT. Martin Van Run, USQs international recruiting director, also participated in the exploratory talks.
