Students from NITs School of Information and Engineering achieved outstanding results at the 7th Freescale Smart Car Contest in Zhejiang. Two teams competed under the guidance of their teachers Qiu Jun and Liu Yihua. The first team, composed of Wang Qing, Zhou Jingzhe and Qiu Zexia, and the second team of Wang Kai, Luo Jiangcheng and Zhong Yanzi, both won third prizes.
The contest is one of the National Teaching Quality and Education Reform Projects, approved by the Ministry of Education. A total of 193 teams from 27 universities participated.
