A grand appointment ceremony was held on October 17th in SB316 to recognize Professor Huang Shaohua as a Sanjiang Scholar. Dean of the Media and Design School, Shao Peiren, presided at the ceremony. NIT President, Jin Weilian, awarded the Certificate of Appointment to Professor Huang, saying that he hoped Professor Huang would promote the humanities at NIT and train a team of potential young teachers. Director of the Personnel Department, Lu Chaohui, and teachers and students of Media and Design School attended the ceremony.
Following the appointment ceremony, Professor Huang Shaohua gave a lecture entitled “The Basic Principles of Quantitative Research” to teachers and students of the Media and Design School, which was warmly received.
