Ten years ago, Ningbo added an important page to the citys history of higher education - Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, was established.

Once the news of the school was announced, it attracted wide attention. Zhejiang University enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad and Ningbo is a historical, cultural and commercial city. With support of both parties, NIT embarked on a journey of rapid development. Now ten years later, NIT has justified the choices and judgments of the decision makers.
Looking back, ten years in history is only a short time, but for the Institute, the decade was unusual. It was a story of dreams with twists and turns. In the past decade, NIT has worked closely with the local governments and enterprises. 61 research institutions were founded, and the funds for scientific research projects have totaled 160 million yuan.
As a freshman at NIT, I have seen many teachers and administrative personnel who are dedicated to the growth of the students and to the school.
The tenth anniversary is a special occasion for our school. It is the closing of the first chapter and the beginning of the next. Todays achievements are a result of a decades hard labor. As students, we should commit to hard work under the guidance of our teachers and try to achieve success for ourselves and our school.
Although the road ahead may not be smooth, we are ready for the challenges of the future. A new chapter is awaiting us.
