March 5, 2012 was the 50th anniversary of Lei Feng, a PLA soldier. To promote Lei Fengs spirit, seventeen volunteers from the School of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering launched a series of volunteer programs at the East Railway Station on April 27. "The place you are working for is the best place for you to learn from Lei Feng and offer your help to others. People need care on their journey. The service you provide can make a traveler feel warm and at home, and in return you will feel happy and content. In a word, one can find happiness by helping others”, a volunteer from NIT said.
