On November 24th, Professor CaoYi, a senior lecturer from Cranfield University gave an academic report titled Multiphase Slug Flow and Its Control in Shilin Hall. At the beginning of the lecture, Zhao Guangzhou, the dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering introduced Cranfield University briefly and hoped all the postgraduates present could seize this chance to strengthen the contact with the university and continually enlarge their academic knowledge. Prof. Cao had a further exchange with the postgraduates and faculties during the lecture. Combined with videos and the interpretation of diagrams, this academic report deepened their understanding of slug flows. It not only enlarged students horizon, but also encouraged them to try their best to bring skills of software design into full play by solving the actual problem.
