On June 6th, 2016, the 3rd China (Ninbgbo) – Central and Eastern European Educational Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Sheraton Hotel. 250 officials from a dozen of Central and Eastern European, and representatives from universities and colleges of China and Central and Eastern European countries attended the conference.

At the conference, Poland Language and Culture Centre, cosponsored by NIT and Consulate General of Poland in Shanghai, was declared to be established. Consulate General of Poland in Shanghai will provide the books, periodicals and videos about Polish history and culture to the Centre and helps the Center to carry out activities to spread their culture and art. In the future, NIT will send teachers and students to Poland to spread Chinese culture as well. The Centre will become an important base for communication between China and Poland.
