On June 17, 2016,good news came from Beijing that three NIT Projects were funded by National Social Science Fund 2016. In terms of the total number of funded projects, NIT ranked sixteenth among colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province and ranked second in colleges and universities in the city of Ningbo. NIT aims to promote the development of liberal arts and social science by encouraging the staff to undertake the high-level scientific research projects and by setting up a special fund for publication of the relevant books.
