On June 25th and 26th, 2016, the Ninth Zhejiang Young College Teaches Teaching Skill Competition was held in Zhejiang University. Wu Yong, a lecturer from the School of information science and engineering won the first prize in the science group, who, as the one with the highest score in his group,  will take part in the Third National Young College Teaches Teaching Skill Competition in Shanghai in August on behalf of the Zhejiang Province. Xu Feng, a teacher from the School of Electromechanical and Energy Engineering won the first prize in the engineering group. Mr Jiang Yiwei, a teacher from the School of Media and Design won the first prize in the liberal arts group. Miss Dong Xiaoyan (from the School of Law and Politics) and Mr Wu Zhige (from the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering) both won the Excellence Award. Meanwhile, NIT won the Excellent Organization Award.
