Between September 25 and September 28th, 2016, the 9th National Concrete Durability Conference was held at NIT. The conference aims to promote cooperation and exchange between universities, research institutes and companies. A total of 92 papers were submitted to the conference and more than 260 teachers, experts and scholars attended the conference .

Lu Yihui, Chairman of the Academic Committee, Professor Wang Lin, China Building Materials Academy, Professor Jin Weiliang, President of Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University delivered keynote speeches at the conference.
During the four-day conference, issues related to the durability of concrete were fully discussed, especially the issues on concrete durability testing, and the relation between the durability of concrete and environment.
