On the morning of November 12, 2016, the review meeting and the symposium of 2nd Marine Silk Road Creative Competition were held at Yangming Institute of NIT. Yu Chunming, Vice president of NIT, Qi Yingchun, Deputy Director of Ningbo Museum, Sun Shouqian, Director of Modern Industrial Design Research Institute of Zhejiang University, Li Ying, a famous expert in cultural and creative industry from Taiwan attended the review meeting and the symposium.

Professor Lin Wei was elected Chairman of the review meeting. These scholars and experts selected 134 pieces of works finally, including craft gifts, practical supplies, souvenirs and hand-made plane derivatives. They believed that these works had a deep insight into the two concepions, “Silk Road on the Sea” and “Ningbo as a Port”.
Afterwords, Zhao Jianguo gave a report on how to manage the Marine Silk Road Creative Competition 2015-2016 and listened to the scholars and experts at the symposium. They agreed that the purpose of the competition was to make the history of “Marine silk road” more widely known and to make “Marine silk road” integrated into people’s life.
