On November 18, 2016, President of Bialystok Technical University Lech Jerzy Dzienis paid a visit with his wife to NIT. Jin Weiliang, President of NIT, held a talk with President Dzienis on how to further promote cooperation in international academic conferences and exchange students.

Accompanied by the clerks of FAO, President Dzienis also paid a visit to Ningbo Zhoushan Port in Beilun. He expressed his wish that their students would be given opportunities to practice there.Then, President Dzienis, together with Mao Caisheng, Vice President of NIT, attended the founding ceremony of China - Central Eastern Europe International Logistics and Service College, cosponsored by NIT and Beilun District.
As for exchange students, Ningbo Bureau of Education has been devoted to raising funds to help students go abroad and coming to Ningbo. It is expected that we can see more Polish students and more students from the other Central Eastern Europe countries in Ningbo and that more students in colleges and universities in Ningbo will have chances to go to these Central Eastern Europe countries.
